Hi there! I'm Sara and I'm a professional game enthusiast and amateur game developer from Portugal, based in beautiful Copenhagen. I've been playing games for as long as I can remember: some of my earliest memories are of fighting demons in Doom with my sister. My first console was a Game Boy Color and I’ve always loved all things Nintendo. These days I’m mostly into indie games, where I've clocked in many hundreds of hours in titles like Stardew Valley, Dave the Diver, Cult of the Lamb, Balatro, and so many more.

I’ve been participating in game jams and dabbling in game dev since 2017, usually handling all the visual stuff - concept art, graphical assets, sprites, UI, and animation. My favorite art medium is digital and vector art, but I love everything from pixel art to voxel and 3D. I love anything cozy and whimsical, drawing silly art that makes people smile, and making games that feel like wearing a fuzzy sweater on a cold winter’s day. I usually team up with my best friend JPiolho, who does all the programming magic. We're part of a tiny two-person indie game studio, Shy Pixel:
